Flesh Nachos

Posted by sam at April 30th, 2004

Today as I was grating some cheese, my hand slipped and I ended up grating my thumb.  Fortunatly for my blood,  my fingernail took the brunt of the damage.  It feels all weird now and looks all jagged and messed up.
I took my last final today.  I woke up with about 12 minutes to get to class so I went as fast as I could.  I got to class about ten minutes late.  I was all wound up from hurrying to get there that I flew right through the test and didn’t relax until I realized it was over.
I will not be taking classes in the summer.  I will, hopefully, be getting another job and making some much needed money.

Moo brought over an arcade game cabinet the other day, so now we have “GUNFORCE” in our living room.  It’s a contra rip off, except that it only takes about ten minutes to beat.  I have the great idea of  turning it into a mame cabinet so we can play a lot more games on it.  I already have a pc I could stick in there, I’m just not so sure I want to take on the soldering required to get the controls working.  Maybe it will be a good summer project, or something to do until I find another job.  Then again, maybe it’s a bit quixotic.

ughh..

Posted by sam at April 27th, 2004

I went to history today expecting to take part one of a two part final.  Part one is multiple choice, and I was prepared.  When I got there everyone had their bluebooks out for a in-class 5 page essay test.  I had not prepared for said test.  The teacher got up and said “instead of the final we’re just going to watch this movie and write a one page reaction.”  You cannot imagine how happy that makes me.

The Powerless will be playing in American Forkstock.  It should be a good time.  14 bands, two stages, all day, booths, etc. etc.  I was going to be out of town originally but I canceled my plans and the producer really wanted us to play so we’re in.  I’m pretty excited about it, it should give us some good exposure.

Donny Darko.  One of those movies that your not sure if you like or not.  I think I like it after watching it two nights in a row.  Definatly a dark comedy if I ever saw one.  The dark comedy is a strange genre for me - I never know if I like them or not, and they always leave me in a weird mood.

A few more days and finals are over…. please let it end!  I’m not taking classes this summer I’m just going to work and play music.

Gee Wilikers

Posted by sam at April 23rd, 2004

I saw Big Fish last night and have to say it was one of the better Tim Burton films I’ve seen.  Very welly, done visually - Some of the scenes were really astounding.  The story was above average, so overall the film gets a B+.

My friend Alisha and I came up with our own cool fetish site.  We’re going to put it up because I think there is a big market for this particular fetish.  It will be the little people pirates fetish site (You down with LPP?) and will feature pictures of midgets in pirate clothing.  Sometimes with, sometimes without headphones.

FBI Sniper action

Posted by sam at April 21st, 2004

I heard on the news today that someone had stolen a sniper rifle from an FBI agents car.  The car was unmakred, and therefor probably not targeted (it was just a random theft).  The agent was traveling out of state and at a motel.
First of all, what is an FBI agent doing with a sniper rifle anyway?  Political Assassination conspiracy theories anyone?  Watch you back, Bush, they’re coming for you!  Second, he was traveling out of state with it.  I don’t know but this all seems fishy to me.

Briney Spears

Posted by sam at April 21st, 2004

I was going through the stats for my bands webpage and came across a pretty awesome referer.  Someone did a search for “Briney Spears Naked”.  Due to the dysfunctional spelling if Brittany, and this thread (where it is also spelled wrong), we came up on the first page of the search results.  Poor idiot didn’t even realize he had search for Briney.
    A representative from the apartment complex where I was booted replied to my email.  He said it “was rather entertaining”.  He talked for about 10 paragraphs about how it wasn’t their fault, it was the city of Orem’s fault.  Whatever.  At the end of his email he said;
“Hopefully this can appease some of the obvious rage you feel towards Parkway Crossing. If not, I guess you can still desire to live in hell rather than here. Being BYU Approved, that might be wiser.

I guess I can appreciate a sense of humor…

The Latest from BYU

Posted by sam at April 20th, 2004

I have just heard an unconfirmed rumor about BYU’s latest addition to the honor code.  It came to me from a friend by way of a “reliable source”.  In my book, that’s almost just as good as if I had found it on the internet.  It must be true.
The rule is that BYU students cannot live with non-BYU students (unless they live at home, of course).  That means that a whole lot of BYU kids, at this very moment, are living in sin.  Repent!  Remove yourself from the vile misguided youth of UVSC and other such institutions of “higher learning”!

    …

In related news, BYU has announced they will be moving their campus to a new colony on mars.  Said a spokesman; “We’re obviously better than everyone else, and we don’t want your kids rubbing off on our students.”  The new plan includes a free mercy killing at the end of your education so that you don’t ever have to go back and live on earth.

    …

BYU is playing the role of the over protective mother.  She’s the one who has kids who grow up all screwed in the head because they’ve ever felt the sting of pain, dissapointment, or failure.
We here at UVSC don’t have an elitist attitude like BYU.  We’re so perfect we don’t need it.

The Ultimate Burrito

Posted by sam at April 19th, 2004

Nothing is more unpleasant than getting a mouthful of frozen bean (or bean substitute depending on your budget) paste when your enjoying a nice microwave burrito.
You see, the problem with micorwave burritos is that they never get cooked fully in the middle.  They can be scorchingly overcooked on the sides, and still frozen in the middle.
My new invention is a buritto that is simply thinner in the middle, so it gets cooked all the way through.   Of course, the  burrito would be bigger all around the ensure the customer still gets their moneys worth.

Words can in no way come close to describing the rage and disapprobation I feel right now towards the parkway crossing apartment complex.  I parked in what they call the “visitor parking” lot and was booted for … parking there.  Apparently visitor parking is for … residents only?  I couldn’t begin to guess it’s purpose for existing.

I just paid it and left.  There is no sense in arguing with those people.  It’s like punching a brick wall - a brick wall that nostril rapes you and then takes all your money.

Now, I can’t sleep.  I’m sure I’ll be pissed of  about this well through the weekend.

Here is an excerpt from the email which I sent to parkway crossing:

“I have summarised the reasons I would rather live in hell than parkway crossing in this neat, organized, bulleted list:

*management in hell loves it when you bring your friends

*satan has no use for your money

*the heat of the furnaces of hell pale in comparison to the heat of my rage when I think about parkway crossing

   *no byu standards in hell

   *health benefits”

For those of you who don’t know, parkway corssing is the new apartment complex in Orem that is advertised as being the “cool new place to live”  It’s like a shopping mall with apartments basically.  I guess it’s only a cool place to live if you don’t have any friends who ever want to come visit you.

By the way, this is a *new* policy which they failed to tell anyone about.  I’ve parked there before with no problem.

My anger and contempt is so strong that it was actually effecting me physically for a little while there, I couldn’t type because my motor skills were all wacked out.

Financial Score:  -$75 so far for this month in superfluous expenses.

Hoyl Busy, Batman

Posted by sam at April 15th, 2004

The other night was crazy.  I was setting up and FTP server, troubleshooting clients, planning a trip with a friend, providing telephone tech. support, troubleshooting windows, researching a subject, and having a conversation about Operating Systems all at the same time.  While all this was going on, guests showed up.  I felt like I was about to snap!

Things have been no less hectic since.  I tried to “repair” windows, but ended up reinstalling due to microsoft sucking.  I won’t get into it, but let’s just say my computer has a whole NEW set of problems now that windows has been reinstalled and it’s a serious mess.

Computer problems came just at the wrong moment, too.  I have to write a big paper every night for the rest of this week.  I started tonight with an 8 page paper on social networks.  I managed to at least get Openoffice working on my computer so I could type my paper (the reason for the repair/reinstall was that openoffice would not work or reinstall).  More fun to come!

I’m sure it will take me a while to get everything on this computer running smoothly again.

    But enough of that!

More Headphone Fetish

Posted by sam at April 13th, 2004

OKay, I gotta give you guys some samples of the great headphone fetish site [mentioned in the last entry].  This stuff is rich!

I have told my wife. I more or less had to tell her, since she found my yahoo-list with girls wearing headphones on cam. So I told her the truth. She knew already about my other phetism (gasmasks)”

…everytime she’s sittin down in the lunch room i tell her i bought a new cd and ask if she would wanna hear it and she’ll look at the case and say sure. well lemme tell ya she slips my headphones on and boy does she look super sexy.”

Females seem not only uninterested in viewing headphet but they usually seem reluctant to even participate in it unless pleaded with or tricked into it” [I wonder why?!]

We went in to do schoolwork and on the way she excitedly ask to listen to a particular CD I had. When we got to my space, I unlockled the draw with my player. She opened it up, then quickly closed it when she saw the big black phones. When she realized she didn’t want to refuse b/c of the phones (after all the excitement), she re-opened the draw and took them out and said “these are big headphones” before slipping them on her ears. I could tell she was embarrassed. It was a huge turn-on for me…

Oh man, this stuff is great.  Seriously folks, HOURS of fun to be had at the headphone fetish site.

There are also some really wonderful pictures.  Check these out:

Oh thankyou, thankyou for the internet!
