    Wow, I’m still a little bit in shock.  I’ve never had anyone very close to me die, but my friend was killed in an accident today.  She was driving down I-70 coming back to Utah from Denver (her little bro just got home from a mission there).  She was cut off and veered to avoid hitting the truck.  She went across the median and hit a pickup truck which spun them right into an oncoming semi. 
    The girl who was killed was in the passenger seat and was killed instantly.  Her sister was driving, and their cousin was in the back.  I will be in Denver this weekend for the funeral.
   
    , my heart goes out to you - I’m so sorry.  I will see you this weekend.

    I don’t know if any of you have ever used worldwind but it’s basically a 3D image of the earth, and you can zoom in on any part of it up to pretty decent detail.

    Well google released their keyhole software today, rebranded as google earth.  Holy crap it’s so amazing compared to worldwind.  You can zoom in on a city, rotate the earth so your looking from an angle, and actually see 3d models of the buildings!  I’m looking at downtown denver right now!

    I decided to name my glider nugget.  I took some pictures of her but I’m too lazy to post them. 

    Well Steve says my journal has been boring lately.  I guess it mirrors my life - I still haven’t made too many new friends around here, so I spend my evenings sittting around the house, playing guitar, going to the park, and now, playing with my glider nugget.

    So anyway, to spice up the ol’ journal a little bit, I will post an embarassing video of steve for all to enjoy:

    I bought a new pet today.  It’s been like 10 years since I had a pet, but these are so cool I just had to get one.  It’s called a sugar glider - they’re small marsupials from Australia/New Zealand.  It’s like a flying squirrel.  Like this:

    So I need your help because I don’t know what to name her.  I want to name her something easy like one or two syllables but not too girly.  All the people at the sugar glider store name theirs like sunny hun-bun foo foo gizlebum and trinie beanie foozie-woozie.  I don’t want to name it anything like that or I will feel like a queer every time I say it. 

    George would be an awesome name (as in Georgia on dead like me), but my friend already named her rat after the cast of dead like me - so I have to be more more original.  I hearby accept your suggestions.

    Just start to write.

    Today was lame.  We had a big training meeting at work where they went over different products and stuff.  Everyone was given a ticket based on participation and the ticket was put into a raffle for prizes.  I participated probably more than anyone, yet never got a ticket.

    But the whole process makes me feel cheap.  My participation can be bought for a chance to win some prize.  It’s like selling yourself.  It’s sad that thats the insentive, but it’s even sadder that it works.

    Well, fortunatley I burnt my pizza.  I ate it anyway and burnt the roof of my mouth up pretty bad - it’s like I have streamers of dead skin hanging down now. 

    Tomorrow we are going to moab.  We are going to go put a boat in a river and sit in it. I’m really excited!

    Smith’s had frecheta pizzas for $3, so I bought a couple.  They didn’t have stuffed crust pepperoni, they only had stuffed crust cheese - which I grabbed knowing I had some pepperoni at home. 

    Well, come to find out the pepperoni expired like last month.  I never opened it and it was in the crisper drawer (so I could keep it crispy, duh).  I opened the package and took a wiff and it smelled just fine.  So I ate one and it tasted okay.

    So my pizza is cooking now - with expired pepperoni on it.  I will let you all know if I get sick or die.
