Just came home to a bunch of police lights.  I can still see them through my window.  The cops yelled at us and hit the car as we were pulling in because we were driving over their crime scene or whatever.

Apparently some dofus on a motor cycle had an accident right in front of our house.  He must have veen going pretty fast because the skid marks are right in front of my house and his bike came to rest at the school parking lor down the street.  I would say thats a good 70 yards away.  Guess they already took the dude to the hospital (which is right across the street).  But there were 13 cops here.

When I got out of the car I asked one of the cops what happened and he ignored me.  So I walked up to another cop and said "Hey can I ask whats going on?" And he said "we had an accident....well.... WE didnt have an accident, some guy did" and walked off.

The cops were here the other day too to ransack my landlords apartment for drugs.  They were tipped off that he was dealing drugs from his apartment.  They found some perscription drugs that a friend left and arrested him.  $750 later he's out of the clink and really pissed off.

He said he's never been arrested before - which I know is not true since I have looked him up on the Utah inmate search (to which I can no longer get access :( ).  So I guess I wouldnt put it past him to be dealing drugs either.  There were some pretty shady characters hangin around outside the other day.

I'm glad I'm moving at the end of this month.  Now just to find a place.
