Really l33t h@xor acronyms

If you don't know what the title of this article says, then you definitely need to brush up on your l33t speak. But that is beyond the focus of this article. Today we're going to be talking about chat room shortcuts - acronyms that convey your thoughts quickly. These are universally understood so that anyone in a chat room can understand you quickly without the need for too much typing.

You might be familiar with some of the basics:

LOL = Laughing Out Loud (Beginner)
BRB = Be Right Back (Beginner)
JK = Just Kidding (Beginner)
IMHO = In My Honest Opinion (Intermediate)

Here are some that you might not be as familiar with, but are in common use among the most l33t of all chat room chatters. Throw these down, and people will know you talk the talk:

IHAOL = I Hate AOL
MMWLM = My Mom Won't Let Me
DWAIGGBTTMBGCDBILY = Dude, When Am I Going To Get Back That They Might Be Giants CD I Lent You?
WWOWMCD = What Would Oscar Winner Michael Caine Do?
ROTFLOLATSWKV = Rolling On The Floor Laughing Out Loud At This Star Wars Kid Video
INAHFOPC = I'm Not A Huge Fan Of Phil Collins
PCIO = Phil Collins Is Okay
IADAAW = I Am Dressed As A Woman

Sometimes I like to throw these out in regular everyday conversation to see which of my friends understand, thereby detecting who is leading a secret double life as a l33t h4x0r by night.
