So my nickname around work is "Slam Sandwich." It's a subtle commentary on my somewhat hobo-like appearance at times and a play on my given name.

Adam Koford (aka Apelad), illustrated each one of John Hodgeman's hoboes from his book The areas of my expertise. Afterwards, he did a limited run (200 or so) of other hobo illustrations based on ideas sent in to him on his blog.

I was lucky enough to get my hobo, Slam Sandwich, illustrated by his talented hand. Without further adieu, I give you "Slam Sandwich" by Adam Koford.
